During the residency the artist explored

the surrounding area and the town of Ussana,

he met the inhabitants, and deepened topics

with farmers, researchers and activists.

This experience allowed him to develop a greater awareness of agro-pastoral life and the tensions to which it is subjected. Seasonal cyclicality. The dignity of work. Environmental protection. But also the need for alternative development paths to solve atavistic problems of unemployment and degradation.
