The artist represents with his work

his own vision of Sardinia.

Onda is a goddess, or spirit of Nature, who protects and guards the island: she is an iconographic figure that encapsulates, in the artist's mind, the power of this incredible island of ours, so rich in history and tradition.

Her hair looks like waves and from her hands grow plants and fish, symbolizing the beginning of life.

Although Campidarte is located inland, the artist perceived the connection that exists between the Sardinians and the sea that surrounds them, and chose to represent the element of "water" predominantly.
